This is a two year part-time training course running from January to December in three terms, meeting fortnightly on Mondays from 10.00 am - 3.30 pm.

The course covers the skills and learning needed for those who seek to be alongside others in their journey of faith. It draws heavily on Ignatian Spirituality. The course is ecumenical, open to Christians of all traditions,
either clergy or lay, and is led by experienced spiritual directors.

Some experience of listening to others is a helpful starting point for the training, but the course will help participants to explore the ministry of Spiritual Direction and discern if it is appropriate for them.

The course seeks to build on, nurture and enhance existing gifts and abilities.

A certificate of completion is presented at the end of the 2nd Year.
