At this point in the process your group should be fairly comfortable with one another and you should have a reasonable idea of what things work well for your group. With this is mind your prayer time for this session should reflect how you as a group like to pray together.
Organise the space to create a prayerful atmosphere. Think about arranging the seating and setting the lighting to help create the effect you would like. You might want to create a visual prayer focus and use candles.
Choose some prayerful songs / hymns to sing. If you have a musician in your group they may want to play or alternatively you can sing along to pre-recorded music on CD or mp3.
Choose 1 or 2 short passages from Matthew's Gospel that are of significance for your group. You can simply read them and ask for people's prayerful reflections or lead a more structured reflection using the techniques of Lectio Divina.
Some time of silence to listen to the Lord would also be important to include.
You might want to use this structure as a guide.
