This new one-year course will be a place for mutual discovery and exploration of who we are and what we are called to be as co-creators in God's dream.

Week
of Guided Prayer
2 – 7 September 2007. Led by a team of experienced prayer guides
there is the opportunity to meet with your own personal “prayer
guide” daily at a time to suit you.
Healing
as Jesus Healed: The basics of Christian Healing
A course to give a scriptural background to Healing today and practical
guidance in ministering Christ’s healing to a hurting world.
Led by Geoff and Gina Poulter.
Commencing Tuesday 18 September 2007 (5 sessions: 7.45pm – 9.45pm).

Door Retreat
A wonderful opportunity to deepen and develop your relationship with God
and to take time out to reflect and discern. Places on this popular course
are limited.

Promise Is For You
A series of six talks on the Holy Spirit – a response to the words
of John Paul II: “Open yourselves docilely to the gifts of the Spirit!
Accept gratefully and obediently the charisms which the Spirit never ceases
to bestow on us!”
Using DVD material and small groups – a chance to open our hearts even more to the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit.
Commencing Wednesday 18 April 2007 (6 sessions: 9.30am – 11.45am).
JUST
LISTEN
The “Just Listen” course at the Catholic Bible School is a
lively and practical way of beginning to develop or improve the listening
attitudes and skills that we need if we are to respond to a hurting world.
Commencing on 2 February 2007 the course will run on Friday evenings for 3 sessions. 7.45pm – 9.45pm.
PRAYER MINISTRY & COUNSELLING COURSE
A two part course (consisting of five days each part) covering a wide range of topics. The course is recognised and accredited as sufficient to apply for Pastoral Membership of the ACC (UK).
Part 1 - March 26th-30th 2007 from 10.00am - 5.00pm
Part 2 - July 16th-20th 2007 from 10.00am - 5.00pm
Applicants must complete part 1 to be eligible for part 2.
Led by Rev Elizabeth Brazell and Fran Hawkins.
BIBLE BREAKTHROUGH
A one-year course of Scripture study covering key aspects of both the Old Testament and New Testament. Some short written assignments will be required of participants. A certificate will be awarded on satisfactory completion of course.
Commences 19th April 2007. Thursday evenings 7.45pm - 9.45pm (approx once a fortnight during term time. 19 sessions April 2007 - March 2008). Plus attendance at two designated Saturday Study Days each term.
"ART WORSHIP" WORKSHOP
"Art exists in the space created by the tension between what we can imagine and what we can put into words. If we embrace this creativity with our worship to God, with openness and wonder, it can lead us into a place of spiritual amazement."
This workshop will provide opportunities to unlock your own creativity and discover how you can use art as an expression of worship to God. It is for young at heart adults, of all abilities (including those who profess to 'non-ability'). It will be a time to give to God, but also to receive from Him. There will be fun and sharing (and we expect laughter) as we paint and draw our way into His presence.
